I'm a maniac...
maniac...
Not only for 80's sound tracks... (This is the one of Flashdance) but also for Dance Dance Revolution, Pump It Up, and all dancing machines on this universe!
Have you ever seen one of them? You must jump, stepping on the arrows following the ones that you can see on the coin-op screen.
It's very nice, it helps to lose weight (I do need to, as my boyfriend often remembers me), and you may know lot of people with the same passion!
It's a childish game, but I DO LOVE IT!
Remember... shy people, don't try to do this if you want to remain shy!

I added a pair of pics... so you can understand what I am talking about!
These pictures are not the best... hope they're enough!

I'm quite sure I've never seen a machine like this! I'm also very certain I would be falling all over my own feet if I tried! And I'm going to guess that this activity gets quite humorous as people have more to drink. Sounds like fun!

To drink & to jump on dancing stage together? It's almost impossible! Never tried to do it... This game requires a lot of energy, if played in an amusing manner. And requires you to see arrows while moving toward the top of the screen.
PS gave another look to your pix... saw you often find places to put a model in and shot these without anyone... How could you imagine a photographic set without anyone there? (I know, you're a professionist but... how can you do it? Which skills did you have to grow?)

Okay, let me see if I understand this. So, the screen is ABOVE you as you try to follow the arrows? This definitely sounds like the type of activity where I'd fall over my own feet.
As for finding locations that work, it's mostly a matter of understanding light. That's why I take pictures of a place before taking a model there. I try to go at the same time of day so that I know where the light will be, what shadows are in place, and what adjustments I need to make. The biggest challenge to shooting outdoors, though, is that the light keeps moving!

The screen is in front of your face. You must move your feet according to arrows moving from the bottom to the top of the screen... when they reach the top, you must step onto the relative arrow under your feet.
I'll find some pix in the net and post them... I'll do this when I'll be able to work on "my" Mac and not this one.
About scenaries... I was fascinated about empty ones, where you can see there's the place to put a person! I make some nature photoes... but always try to find almost full backgrounds. I am a desordered one... as you know.
I like also to shot faces... when people does not see I'm doing this. I must adevelop a hundred of this kind of pix. I wonder what I did...

Okay, the pictures help some, though I'm still quite sure I'd be falling down rather than doing anything close to dancing. ;)

I do love dancing. It makes me feel free, without any kind of boundaries. I don't think at anything while dancing. My mind get finally empty (whether I have too many thoughts, generally), my feelings are able to spread widely.
Why are you convinced you cannot stay on your feet while Dancing, G.?

Because I have trouble staying on my feet just walking across the floor! I really can be quite clumsy at times. There doesn't have to be anything in my way. I just trip and stumble for no apparent reason.
Plus, I grew up in a house where dancing was not allowed. I didn't even get a chance to try until I was out of the house and in college. I've been told I'm a good "chair dancer". That is, I dance well as long as I'm sitting down. LOL.

I'm a chair dancer, too! When the rythm takes possess of my soul and there's no place to stay on feet (or when I feel to do this is not a good thing to do) I cannot stay without moving! Then start moving my head, shoulders, neck and arms... It's amusing, too!

Chair dancing is so much fun! And it doesn't really seem to matter what kind of music it is. I can chair dance to anything!
